I’m Alba, a multilingual copywriter who’s been obsessed with advertising since before I knew what copywriting was. I was that kid memorizing taglines for fun, and then rewriting them because I thought I could do better. Turns out, I never grew out of it.
Now I do it professionally, turning research into ideas and writing lines that make people laugh, feel something and think twice. I’m drawn to work that isn’t obvious or safe. If a line doesn’t earn a “wait… wow,” it’s not ready, or it’s not mine.
Before advertising, there was basketball. I’ve played competitive basketball at the collegiate level, professionally overseas, and across international tournaments, including time with the Spanish national team. The more I think about it, the clearer it becomes: basketball trained me for this industry. Fighting for something that isn’t guaranteed, earning space, competing for attention. Sounds familiar?
Basketball taught me how to read situations fast, stay disciplined under pressure, and make decisions when hesitation isn’t an option. You don’t get to overthink. You prepare. You trust the work. And you commit. And the most important: you show up every day ready to give the best version of yourself—whether you feel ready or not. That mindset never left, I just apply it to a not-so-different field now.  So yeah, I'm here to play.
